Access to O’Loghlen Street laneway, between Maisey Street and O’Loghlen Street will be CLOSED to ALL TRAFFIC commencing Tuesday 13 August due to sewerage maintenance.

Following an extensive and highly competitive recruitment process, the Shire of Dowerin is pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs Manisha Barthakur to the role of Chief Executive Officer after a Special Council Meeting held on 7 August 2024.

The Shire of Dowerin advise that all gravel roads are now OPEN to hevay vehicles. Some roads are still affected by water, so please use the sealed road network where possible to preserve our communities infrastructure. We appreciate your cooperation.

ALL GRAVEL ROADS ARE CLOSED Due to recent rainfall, ALL gravel roads within the Shire of Dowerin are CLOSED to heavy vehicles (>4.5t) effective immediately. School buses are exempt. We appreciate your cooperation to preserve our communities infrastructure.
